Service Terms, Conditions & Customer Notice

By scheduling or accepting services from Spa Officials, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Weather & Natural Conditions

We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or schedule changes caused by weather, storms, rain, flooding, extreme temperatures, natural events, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

When weather conditions or the forecast make it unsafe or impractical to perform service, we may postpone an appointment. Because weather-related changes can affect multiple customers at the same time, rescheduled appointments will be handled according to the next available opening in our schedule. We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers and reschedule as promptly as possible.

2. Existing Conditions & Pre-Existing Problems

Our technicians work with equipment, plumbing, surfaces, valves, fittings, electrical components, pools, spas, and other systems that may be old, deteriorated, corroded, damaged, improperly installed, or previously repaired.

We are not responsible for failures resulting from pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, deterioration, corrosion, improper installation, previous repairs, lack of maintenance, or defects that existed before our service.

During inspection or repair, an existing component may fail when it is disturbed or operated due to its age or condition. We will make reasonable efforts to identify and communicate such issues, but we cannot guarantee that an old or deteriorated component will withstand inspection, adjustment, removal, or repair.

3. Diagnosis & Repairs

A service call, inspection, or diagnosis is intended to identify the apparent cause of a problem based on the conditions present at the time of service.

Diagnosis of one problem does not guarantee that other unrelated problems do not exist. In particular, repairing one leak, equipment failure, plumbing issue, or structural problem does not guarantee that the pool or spa will have no additional issues.

Where appropriate, the system may need to be filled, operated, and tested after repairs before additional problems can be identified. We do not guarantee that additional defects will not be discovered after the original issue has been repaired.

4. Estimates & Additional Work

Estimates are based on the information and conditions reasonably observable at the time of inspection. Hidden, concealed, underground, inaccessible, or previously unknown conditions may require additional labor, parts, or repairs.

Customers will be notified when additional work is identified, and additional charges may apply when the customer authorizes that work.

5. Water Chemistry & Customer Responsibilities

Pool and spa water chemistry can change due to weather, usage, chemicals, equipment condition, water source, and other factors.

Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate water levels and following reasonable instructions provided by our company. We are not responsible for damage resulting from inadequate water levels, improper chemical use, unauthorized adjustments, neglect, misuse, or failure to follow service recommendations.

6. Access to Property

Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the pool, spa, equipment, water supply, electrical breakers, gates, and other areas necessary to perform the scheduled service.

If required access is unavailable, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and applicable service or trip charges may still apply.

7. Equipment & Parts

Replacement parts and equipment may vary in availability, manufacturer specifications, and delivery times. Delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, discontinued parts, or circumstances outside our control are not the responsibility of our company.

Manufacturer warranties, when applicable, are separate from our workmanship and service obligations.

8. Limitations of Service

Our service is limited to the work specifically requested, inspected, diagnosed, or authorized. Unless specifically stated in writing, we do not guarantee the condition, performance, or longevity of components that we did not install, repair, replace, or specifically inspect.

9. Property Damage & Hidden Conditions

We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing defects, hidden conditions, improperly installed systems, deteriorated materials, underground conditions, or components that fail due to age or deterioration during normal service, inspection, or repair.

Where reasonably possible, we will inform the customer of observed risks before proceeding.

10. Scheduling

Appointment times are estimates and may be affected by weather, emergencies, prior jobs, traffic, parts availability, unexpected repair conditions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the scheduled appointment window but cannot guarantee an exact arrival time.

11. Customer Complaints & Disputes

We value our customers and make reasonable efforts to resolve legitimate concerns professionally and in good faith.

Customers are encouraged to contact us directly regarding any concern before pursuing a formal dispute. We reserve the right to request reasonable documentation, photographs, service records, or an opportunity to inspect the condition in question before determining responsibility.

Nothing in these terms is intended to waive or limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

12. No Guarantee of Unrelated or Future Problems

Completion of a service or repair does not constitute a guarantee that the pool, spa, plumbing, equipment, structure, or other components will remain problem-free.

Pools and spas contain multiple interconnected mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and chemical systems. Failure of one component may reveal or contribute to other issues that cannot reasonably be identified until the system is operated and tested.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our company shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or unforeseeable losses arising from pre-existing conditions, equipment failure, weather events, loss of water, loss of use, or conditions outside the scope of the services we performed.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

14. Agreement to Terms

By scheduling, authorizing, or accepting services, the customer acknowledges that they have had an opportunity to review these terms and agrees to be bound by the applicable terms governing the services provided.

These terms are intended to establish clear expectations between the customer and Spa Officials and shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable law.
